As we step into the New Year, we want to pause and reflect on all of the ways God moved in 2025. We saw hundreds of lives touched, multiple homes rebuilt and repaired, elders and students discipled and cared for, and the Gospel lived out in practical, joyful ways. An impact that would not have been nearly as large as it was without our incredible volunteers, faithful donors, local partners, and the sustaining grace of Jesus. Enjoy this recap of our ministry’s impact in 2025.

ACE’s Dedicated Volunteers Showed Up Big

In 2025, we hosted 22 teams, as well as a multitude of dedicated individuals, totaling approximately 459 volunteers who came to serve alongside ACE staff. What a testament to the body of Christ coming together!

In November alone, we had more than 70 volunteers who rushed in to help with Hurricane Melissa recovery—shoutout to the incredible groups from Rebel, Bayshore Christian, and Kansas City Christian, among others, who rolled up their sleeves for debris cleanup, home repairs, and community support.

Loving Our Elders Through the ACE Mobile Infirmary (AMI)

Our AMI program remained a cornerstone of care for the elders in our area, providing home visits, relationship building, health support, spiritual discipleship, and more. Last year, we completed 406 AMI visits68 of which were conducted in December alone

In total, we served 83 seniors and provided each with essentials such as check-ups, fresh groceries, warm meals, companionship, and the tender “Love n Rub” moments: foot-washing, nail care, massages, haircuts, prayer, and simply sitting together.

These aren’t just visits—they’re reminders to each of our elders that they are seen, cherished, and never forgotten. “We love because he first loved us” in action every time (1 John 4:19).

Investing in the Next Generation Through Child Sponsorships

We love watching our ministry’s sponsored children grow, learn, and thrive through the faithful support of our sponsors. In 2025, 179 people sponsored a total of 187 students across our various programs, helping them stay in school, access vital resources, and experience God’s love through consistent care.

To break it down for you, we served 64 students through Child Sponsorships (including 3 with AMI in-home support), 31 Second Story students, 53 students through Family Sponsorships (with 28 families receiving quarterly groceries), 2 special needs adults through our Apprenticeship program, 2 College students, and 13 Special Education students.

Throughout the year, 11 students graduated out of their sponsorship, 9 moved away or were removed for various reasons, and sadly, 2 students passed away due to medical complications—please continue to pray with us for their families.

During our annual Backpack Distribution event, we gave out 163 school bags, supplies, and uniforms to equip our students for success. 67 sponsored students were personally visited by at total of 33 sponsors who traveled to Jamaica. We also hosted 2 birthday parties, Vacation Bible School, and our annual Christmas party, filled with games, food, laughter, and of course, reminders that every child is loved and valued.

ACE Teams Focused on Building, Healing, Discipling, and More

Each team had its own unique agenda for the week, but we always love to see how individual projects worked on during short-term mission teams lead to long-term impact as each project comes together over several weeks or months.

In addition to our AMI visits and child sponsorship visits/parties, we saw many construction projects completed. To name a few, volunteers painted homes, schools, and facilities, built entire tiny homes for elders in need, poured concrete for driveways, and cleared pastures, roads, and debris (especially post-Hurricane Melissa).

We had a handful of medical and wellness teams join us to host clinic days at places like Long Road and Rock River, providing the community with healthcare, dental care, and health lessons. Teams also helped bolster our micro-businesses by providing support to Green Life Fresh (planting seeds and assembling our greenhouse/aeroponic towers), Cloud 9 Chocolate, and the farm (bathing and feeding our horses and donkeys).

2025 wasn’t without challenges, but as always, God’s provision rose above it all, and the year truly was wrapped in His love. We’re deeply grateful to our Jamaican staff and dedicated volunteers who partner with us to impact our community and help children, elders, and families reach their fullest potential.

As we look to 2026, we’re excited for continued AMI growth, more volunteers and missions teams, expanded micro-businesses, deeper discipleship opportunities, and whatever else God may have in store for ACE. Thank you for being part of our story. We hope you’ll join us again this year.
