Lori-Ann has been part of the ACE sponsorship program for two years. A few years ago, her father was tragically killed in a car accident. Since then, her mother, Melisia, has worked tirelessly to build a home for herself and her two daughters.
When Melisia first reached out to ACE for assistance, she didn’t sit back and wait for help. Instead, she stayed focused and diligent—saving money, purchasing materials, and working steadily day by day with a heart full of determination.
Meanwhile, God was quietly at work behind the scenes, preparing the hearts of Lori-Ann’s sponsors and sending short-term mission teams to ACE. Although her sponsors were unable to travel with their home church, Castine, the team generously gave up their scheduled day off at the beach to paint the house.
